Let's get you caught up on the lore of this world!
What's the deal with Castor?
Oh, if only we knew... See, Castor is the male lead in Falling in Love with My Unseelie Kidnapper. I'd been teasing his story (book 6) since book 3 in the series...and it took me over a year to write him due to literal natural disaster complications (Hurricane Helene). He, inevitably, got impatient, kidnapped me, and discovered how disorganized and in need of help I was. Therefore, he hired himself on as my Personal Assistant, and now we handle the marketing, ads, and promotion of my books as a team.
What's this about you retiring??
Isn't that every working person's dream? 🥺 Tell me that you don't wake up in the morning before work, sob openly, and wish for to sleep a million zillion years! Being an indie author is a lot, dreamer. Like. A ton. Always. My PA is literally a character from one of my books in order to game my brain into doing all the marketing on top of all the production on top of updating this website and running my social pages and plotting collabs and and and. I'm doing this by myself. Retirement is the joke that let's me ease the pressure of this business because, haha, what do you mean I have deadlines? No, I don't! I'm retired! I can write for fun! And, oh, if I publish a little book here or there...(or on average, seven a year)...well, oopsie! What a silly little side effect of retirement.
Is there...a cult?
Kind of? My ARC team decided that they were a part of a faerie cult some time ago. I refer to them as my Eclipse, just like in my That's (Para) Normal series, because an Eclipse is the collective noun for a group of moths, and I like moths.
You have a twin?
Storm Sterling is my soultwin in the way that Crisis and Crimson are soultwins. We do projects together, and we are obsessed with each other, even though only her branding reflects the obsession.
I'm confused about the universes...
The MillaVerse is my world. It's a multiverse that spans several dimensions and includes all my stories, even the That's (Para) Normal series and my isekais. They crossover.
The EverStorm is a different universe. The characters there will not be seen in the MillaVerse. The EverStorm is strictly books in collabs with Storm Sterling, like the Fire at Will series and the Red Flags and Rogue Brothers series.
